The Promises Alumni Program has been going strong for over 20 years and is committed to providing that critical support for every member of the extended Promises family. Our Alumni members are dedicated to supporting those who have begun the journey of recovery at Promises and their families. Alumni meetings, events, and personal follow-up support help ease the transition back home
Alumni meetings and events are held regularly in Malibu, Los Angeles, New York, Arizona and around the country and the world to help ease the transition back home.

Wednesday Night Aftercare Group
Every week from 6:00pm – 7:00pm
at First Presbyterian Church on Second and Wilshire
1220 2nd Street, Santa Monica, CA 90405
This process group is facilitated by Harry Dixon. Aftercare group is designed to provide you with a place to come and check in weekly with other alumni. It’s a great way to stay connected, accountable, and responsible for your recovery.
Wednesday Night Alumni Meeting
Every week from 7:30pm – 8:30pm
at First Presbyterian Church on Second and Wilshire
Join Malibu alumni at First Presbyterian Church at Second and Wilshire in Santa Monica for our Speaker-Participation meeting. Come reconnect with old friends and offer each other support.
Quarterly Every 3rd Wednesday of the month… we hold our joint meeting with both WLA and Malibu alumni groups! Meeting will be held at our Malibu location (2nd & Wilshire) in March & September and held at our WLA location in June & December, call Tracey Simmons at 310.390.2340 for more information.
