Artist Group

Please come out and share your talent! The artist group is designed solely for the artist/creative person. This group will meet every third Saturday at 8:30- 10pm. Bring your instruments, writing projects, comedy act, painting, or whatever you would like to share with the group. Visitors are welcome with an invitation from a Promises Alumni. Our next meeting is Nov. 20th. I Look forward to seeing you there!

Artist Group dates: Dec. 18th, Jan. 15th, Feb. 19th, etc.

SHINE- Volunteer at Bread & Roses

Promises SHINE program has a volunteer opportunity for you! Every last Monday of the month (excluding holidays) we will be volunteering to feed the homeless at St. Joseph’s- Bread & Roses.

Each day, up to 150 homeless men, women and children eat at Bread and Roses. In place of a soup line, guests are provided with the ambience of a restaurant in which volunteers act as waiters while diners eat a meal set at tables replete with tablecloths and fresh flowers. The Café fosters feelings of respect and trust between guests and staff.

Last year, Bread and Roses Café served over 25,000 hot, nutritious meals to more than 2,000 men, women, and children.
